This journey through rurban lands invites you to explore a complex area located on the outskirts ofParis. Society’s development has led to a host of changes in the countryside of Ile-de-France. A sensitive analysis of this new landscape, linked to architecture and the living world, explores the dynamics of rurbanisation centred around the agricultural sphere. Responding tosocial, economic and environmental challenges is becoming a priority for our society.The case study of a village and a farm, along with individual accounts, will enable us to understand how stakeholders in this area are establishing strategies in order to respond to thesechallenges. Based on this work, we will look at the multidisciplinary aspect of architecture and design in light of these issues.
