This dissertation is part of a master’s degree in architecture and design at the Ecole Camondo. It will study and devise tools for developing a methodology in order to design and share mental images which are, by definition, detailed visions shaped by the brain. The idea for this dissertation came to me from my personal experience with mental images. Here, the word “Image” refers to a mental representation beyond a simple 2D image; it evokes a volumetry, a space or even an environment that might sometimes be multisensory, according to the alertness of the eyes. It should be noted that 80% of people are able to visualise a mental image if they receive a sensory stimulus.
