This dissertation is the result of various discussions with residents of the city of Bogotá. Their experience and feelings represent its core material. Like many Latin American cities, Bogotá is characterised by a dynamic of urban fragmentation that polarises and forms barriers to integration. Taking an interest in this notion, I wanted to explore how fragmentation can be applied to the sensory experience and emotions felt by residents.Through a sensory diagnosis, we will discover how the stories of the city, between concrete and nature, attest to this phenomenon, as well as how they converge towards shared perceptions of the city.
