In this dissertation, I explore the theme of the hand through my own experiences and memories. I highlight the hand as a creative tool, symbol and means of communication and transmission, while examining its role and place in today’s world.With my own illustrations and drawings, I use this dissertation as a portal to understanding how I perceive and interpret the world.I explore how, in an increasingly automated world, the hand can remain the strongest and most unique way of communicating, conveying, representing and creating.
