Disco, which emerged in a decade that saw some of the most inventive musical creation of the 20th century, was imbued with a hedonistic, revolutionary spirit. It echoed many of the aesthetic, social and political upheavals of its time.Over the course of this exhibition, we immerse visitors in the world of this musical movement by showcasing the forms, colours and ambiances of this era.Inspired by the illuminated dance floors that feature notably in the iconic film Saturday Night Fever, a framework turns our space into a chequered layout, creating exhibition areas.Out of this framework there emerges a circuit with three themes, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in the disco scene.
