I am returning to Camondo after spending two months in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Until now, I have lived at a Parisian pace, but I discovered a new way of approaching our needs, of sharing, of conversing and forging bonds: another way of designing.During this trip, I had the opportunity to meet the last-remaining craftspeople still practising their trade. In India, the quest for modernity and westernisation is prevailing over the simplicity and authenticity that I experienced during my childhood. This degree project renews the connection between my Western language and that of my origins. As such, I would like to offer these craftspeople my shared perspective of these two worlds, with a view to a greater coexistence of tradition and modernity.<b
