This project is an exploration and a dialogue between two spheres: micro- and macro-design. Through my practice as a jeweller, I analyse the dual perspective that it provides on objects at a higher scale. It is a permanent interaction, shifting throughout my research between the language of each one. By playing with the proportions and scales of the object, its uses change and its design is called into question. Going from jewellery to furniture, the object is first worn by the body, then supports it. Temporality is explored through the material, which changes over time. The uses shape the object, the patina evolves and is enhanced, in an ode to the passing of time, an ingredient of beauty.
