I have always lived far away from my native country. Nevertheless, my dissertation interweaves precious and vibrant memories of celebratory meals in Lebanon, in an ode to conviviality and generosity. How can we create, imagine and design based on a memory? How can we be guided by it in order to create a new collection of contemporary tableware that is accessible to all. This collection draws its inspiration from the Lebanese culinary heritage, its opulence and its world. The objects in the range are born out of this research into design, actions and diversity, resulting in crockery that celebrates shared moments. It all comes together on the table like a landscape full of imagery, lending it a rich and layered visual dimension.
