The exceptional wealth of fauna and flora that is still protected by the Regional Natural Park of the Golfe du Morbihan, the archipelago of which has been a Natura 2000 site since 2007, is under threat from the high number of visitors to the protected spaces. The 200,000 visitors a year that come to the Île d'Arz, which has a linear coast of around 18 km, are causing protected spaces of community importance to deteriorate. Areas of engagement and awareness-raising, represented by 7 micro-architectures that punctuate the peripheral coastal path on the island territory, emphasise the historical and geographical characteristics of the site.
