Le rapport Laroque en 1962 alerte sur les situations pr\u00e9caires des s\u00e9niors, tels que la pauvret\u00e9, le mal logement et l\u2019isolement. En 2018, d\u2019apr\u00e8s l\u2019INSEE, pr\u00e8s de 42% des personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es de plus 75 ans vivent seuls en France. L\u2019isolement entraine un ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne de glissement physique et psychologique.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

Comment \u00e0 partir d\u2019un lieu abandonn\u00e9, pouvons nous cr\u00e9er un habitat pour lutter contre l\u2019isolement des s\u00e9niors tout en \u00e9tant un lieu de rencontre au c\u0153ur de la ville ?<\/em><\/strong><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

2 notions sont concili\u00e9es dans le choix du lieu : la premi\u00e8re, un environnement naturel, parce qu\u2019il favorise la sant\u00e9 mentale et psychique. La seconde est l\u2019insertion dans la ville. De nombreux rapports sur le vieillissement pr\u00e9conisent l\u2019int\u00e9gration des personnes vieillissantes dans notre soci\u00e9t\u00e9 sans stigmatisation, ni discrimination.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

Le ch\u00e2teau se d\u00e9ploie sur 3 niveaux avec de larges espaces communs qui permettent aux habitants de cr\u00e9er du lien et des espaces priv\u00e9s o\u00f9 chacun dispose de son intimit\u00e9 et de son ind\u00e9pendance. The renovation of the estate aims to combat the isolation experienced by seniors. Part of the estate is public, in order to open the site to the people of Saint-R\u00e9my, who can meet for a coffee, practise a sport or go for a walk. The second part is private, with the ch\u00e2teau restored into shared accommodation for seven independent seniors. The redevelopment aims to showcase the building, its materials and furniture from the time it was built.
