The Académie des 3 Pierres aims to offer an alternative to existing art centres and give visitorsa genuine experience. This project invites us to sense and experience art in all its dimensions and offers a place of sensations, innovations and installations, open to the outer world and the elements. Through the useof several immersive works of art, we invite visitors to experience a new way of approachingart in order to achieve a state of inner exploration. The academy features three spaces: the hamlet, an arts centre; the forecourt, a place of engagement and education; and the auberge, an experience of living together toattain the utopia of communal living towards which Le Corbusier strived. As such, the academy presents as a living work.
