The project is located at the Institut National du Sport, de l’Expertise et de la Performance (French National Institute of Sport, Expertise and Performance, INSEP), creating an immersive public circuit. Athletes themselves are the primary spectator of this training showcase. For them, this is a reflexive, stimulating and instructive experience of their performance. Four architectural devices are dramatised. For fencing, wooden and mirrored structures, combined with a digital device, prolong the lunges and voltes of the swordspeople. Crumpled reflective panels evoke the friction between wrestlers. In the swimming pool, the architecture undulates, with water and air intermingling. In the athletics stadium, tinted and mirrored glass panels repeat and multiply the precision of the techniques.
